United States academics Asawa an animal experiments have shown that when the liver occurs when cholestasis, hepatic fibrosis cells derived from bone marrow. [J Gastroenterol Hepatol 2007,22 (11): 2001] researchers will be fluorescent staining of bone marrow cells injected in mice via the tail vein, bile duct ligation in mice after 4 weeks.  Pathological findings, bile duct ligation of fibrotic lesions first occur in around 7 days, a large number of fibers of cells derived from bone marrow. Researchers suggested that through inhibition of bone marrow stem cell mobilization to lesions in the liver, is expected to prevent liver fibrosis in biliary lesion. (Li Meng)
